In Balochistan, a group of miscreants were accused of shooting and killing a Hindu businessman. The name of the deceased is Rakesh Kumar. But the reason for this murder is still clear. The local police have already started investigating the incident.
According to Pakistani media 'Dawn', Rakesh's shop was located in Qadirabad stop area of Noshki Bazar. A group of miscreants attacked his shop on Friday night. Allegedly, they opened fire at Rakesh when he tried to stop him. The young man died on the spot. Then the miscreants fled from there. The whole incident caused a stir in the area. The police immediately reached there after receiving the news. It is reported that a case has already been filed against unidentified persons.
The minorities of Balochistan have joined the protest after this terrible incident. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Member of Parliament Gurpal Singh condemned the killing. He termed the incident as a cowardly act of anti-Balochistan forces. “The Hindu community has been an integral part of Balochistan for centuries. Time and again they have proved their loyalty,” he said in a statement on Saturday. “Spreading hatred and fear among the people by targeting Hindus will not be tolerated,” Gurpal added.
