Ingredients to make peanut butter at home

To make 250 grams of peanut butter, you need 200 grams of unsalted peeled peanuts, one-fourth teaspoon of salt, two teaspoons of honey, two tablespoons of peanut oil and 6 to 7 chopped dates. Desi ghee can also be used instead of peanut oil.

Easy way to make peanut butter

First of all, dry fry the peanuts without oil for about 8 to 10 minutes. It is important to roast it on medium to low flame, so that the peanuts get cooked properly from inside and there is no rawness in it. When a nice aroma comes from the peanuts and the peel starts cracking, turn off the gas.

Now let the roasted peanuts cool completely. After this, rub it in a cloth, which will remove the peels easily. Completely separate the peels from the peanuts.

Put the peeled peanuts in the mixer grinder and start grinding them. Blend it until it becomes like peanut paste. Due to the release of natural oil from peanuts during grinding, its texture gradually becomes creamy.

Now add honey, chopped dates, salt and peanut oil or desi ghee to the prepared peanut paste. Blend everything again until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.

In this way your homemade creamy peanut butter will be ready. It can be filled in a clean and dry glass jar and stored in the refrigerator.
