New Delhi: A renowned doctor and an innocent three-year-old child died tragically in two separate road accidents in Telangana on Sunday. A speeding Volvo car lost control and crashed into a divider on the Khammam-Hyderabad highway in Suryapet district, immediately catching fire. The neurosurgeon who was driving the car was burnt alive in this horrific accident. On the other hand, in Santoshnagar area of Hyderabad, a speeding car crushed a three-year-old innocent boy running on the road, due to which he died during treatment.
Volvo car burst into flames after hitting divider on highway
The first accident occurred around 7:15 am on Sunday near Pillalmari on the Khammam-Hyderabad Highway in Suryapet district. Dr. Kasakurthi Jagadish, a neurosurgeon working at Mamta Hospital in Khammam, was going to Hyderabad to meet his family in his Volvo car. On the way, he suddenly lost control of the car and it crashed into the road divider. The collision was so strong that the car immediately caught fire and within no time the entire vehicle turned into a ball of fire. The doctor trapped in the car did not even get a chance to get out and got burnt inside. Passersby immediately informed the police and fire brigade, but by the time the fire brigade reached the spot, the entire car was burnt to ashes.
Two tragic accidents in Telangana
Based on the registration number of the vehicle, the police identified the deceased as Dr. Jagdish. In the initial investigation, it is feared that this accident may have happened due to napping. Police have registered the case and the forensic team has preserved the remains for investigation. Former minister and former Khammam MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar has also expressed deep grief over this incident.
Innocent child hit by car outside hotel
The second accident took place on Saturday night near IS Sadan in Santoshnagar, Hyderabad. Three-year-old child Izhanuddin had gone to a hotel with his father Mohiuddin. When the father was busy taking the food parcel inside the hotel, the innocent child suddenly came out and started running on the road. Meanwhile, a speeding car hit the child hard, due to which he was seriously injured. The injured child was immediately taken to the nearest hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Immediately after the accident, the accused car driver fled from the spot. Police have registered the case and CCTV footage of the area is being scanned to trace the absconding driver.
