Putting up bird feeders in your outdoor space is a great first step to brightening up the view from your window. Not only are birds lovely to watch, but by supplementing their wild diet, you’re actually helping to conserve their populations. Food shortages can occur at any time of year for these feathered creatures, so putting a bird feeder in your garden all year round can be a great way of helping them out.
The feeding station has three spots birds can eat at, plus a bath for drinking and splashing about in. The three arms hold different feeders so you can add different feed to cater to different types of birds, like finches, robins, and house sparrows, all at once.
There’s a tray for scattering seed or mealworms, and the bath keeps them coming back even when the feeders are empty. The flat tray suits ground-feeding species like blackbirds and dunnocks.
Priced at £10, it costs less than many other feeding poles but gives almost everything you need to start feeding a variety of birds. As it’s tall, it’s well-suited for gardens or lawns rather than small patios.
Reviews on the Argos website have generally been positive. One customer said, “Really sturdy, easy to put together. Bought this to replace a previous one that was a little battered from years of winters; within five minutes of having it in place, the birds were back eating me out of house and home!”

Another wrote, “I am very happy with this feeder. It’s very well put together; it’s very strong, and I am getting lots of wild birds visiting.”
A third said, “This bird feeding station is a lovely addition to the garden. It looks more expensive than it was. It is well-made and was very easy to put together. It has a sturdy pole with three arms for hanging bird feeders on (feeders not included). There is a mesh feeding tray and a removable water tray. In my opinion, it is very good value for money, and we are very happy with it.”
A fourth commented, “I bought this two weeks ago, and I am so pleased with it. It’s made of solid metal and easy to assemble. The birds came for a feed straight away. Amazing.”
However, some customers did have some negative opinions about the material quality of the feeding station. One customer wrote, “This is a great bird feeder; my only complaint is that after less than two weeks, you can already see bits of rust on the joints, which makes it look a little bit horrible apart from the birds absolutely loving it.”
Another said, “It’s a lovely feeder, but the top part I received was rusty.” A third wrote, “I bought this a few weeks ago to put in my back garden. On putting it together, I noticed that the bottom pole doesn’t sit in the middle pole properly, so that when it’s in the ground, it is crooked. It doesn’t affect the birds being attracted to it; it just doesn’t look as pleasing to the eye.”
