This detailed walkaround video of the Hyundai Bayon HX8 variant has been shared on YouTube by Fuel Injected on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger mentioning that the new Bayon, according to him, looks a lot better than the Creta. He states that as there are a lot of Cretas on the road, the Bayon’s futuristic design makes it stand out from the crowd. He also talks about the pricing and mentions that the HX8 manual starts at Rs 15.09 lakh and the IVT variant is priced at Rs 16.53 lakh.
Following this, he then starts mentioning the dimensional differences between the Creta and the Bayon. He states that even though the Bayon is shorter in length by 85 mm, it is 20 mm wider than the Creta. Additionally, the Bayon also offers a better ground clearance of 205 mm than the Creta’s 190 mm clearance. However, he also adds that in reality, the Creta still has a bolder and bigger road presence than the Bayon.
Following the dimension comparison, the vlogger then starts talking about the exterior design of the Bayon and particularly about the HX8 variant. At the front, he states that the SUV gets the same futuristic-looking inverted L-shaped LED DRLs and LED headlights. However, it misses out on the ADAS Level 2 camera that is offered on the HX10 variant. But it still gets front parking sensors and a front camera as part of the 360 camera setup.

After the front-end styling, the vlogger opens the bonnet of the Bayon HX8 and shows the engine. He mentions that it gets the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine which makes 115 PS of power and 143 Nm of torque. As for the gearbox options, it gets a 6-speed manual and the IVT gearbox options.
The vlogger then highlights that the Bayon is a much safer car because it is based on the Global K Enhanced Platform from Hyundai. He adds that when the crash tests take place, it will most likely score 5 stars, which the Hyundai Creta does not offer.

Next up, the vlogger then moves to the side profile of this SUV. He states that at the side, the HX8 variant comes equipped with thick claddings on the fenders, and it also comes equipped with claddings on the doors as well. Additionally, the SUV also gets 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, integrated roof rails and a shark-fin antenna.

Moving to the rear, the vlogger then mentions that it gets an integrated roof spoiler, a unique high-mounted stop lamp, reverse parking sensors and a camera, and a gunmetal grey skid plate. It also gets the new inverted L-shaped LED taillights, rear wiper, washer and defogger setup. He then also opens the boot of this SUV and mentions that it gets a 505-litre capacity compared to the 433 litres of the Creta.

Following the exterior, the vlogger then shows the interior of the Bayon HX8. He mentions that the SUV gets a ton of features. These include an 8-way driver’s adjustable seat, ventilated seats at the front, an electronic parking brake, a push start-stop button, cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument gauge cluster with MID in the middle and others.
