“I am responsible for myself…” Young man shot himself after posting a video on Instagram, condition critical

A sensational case has come to light from Meerut, UP, which has shaken everyone. A youth allegedly shot himself in Mawana area on Thursday night. The bullet went straight into the young man’s head and got stuck there, causing him to bleed and fall on the ground. The shocking thing is that just before taking this dreadful step, the young man had posted a video on Instagram, in which he had held himself responsible for this entire incident. At present the young man has been admitted to the hospital in a very critical condition, where he is fighting for life and death. At the same time, the police has started investigating this entire matter.

Young man was missing since afternoon, had given warning on social media

According to the information received, Devansh Rastogi (son Subodh Rastogi), a resident of Preetnagar Colony of Mawana police station area, had suddenly gone missing since Thursday afternoon. While the family was searching for him, Devansh posted three consecutive videos one after the other on his Instagram account. In these videos he clearly said that whatever he is going to do, he himself is responsible for it.

Friends created panic after seeing the video, Devansh was found soaked in blood in the field

As soon as Devansh’s friends saw these horrifying videos on social media, the ground slipped beneath their feet. Fearing some untoward incident, they immediately informed Devansh’s family and without wasting time started searching for him. After a lot of searching, the friends reached near the Middle Ganga Canal Bridge located on Mawana-Hastinapur road. Devansh was lying in a very serious condition in a nearby field. The bullet was stuck on the left side of his head and there was blood all around.

Treatment is going on in the district hospital of Meerut, police is engaged in investigation.

Seeing Devansh in this condition, his friends immediately put him in the car and took him to Mawana police station. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police sent the injured youth to the Community Health Center (CHC) Mawana without any delay. There the doctors gave him first aid, but seeing his critical condition, they immediately referred him to the district hospital, Meerut. Police are now trying to find out why Devansh took such a drastic step and where did he get the weapon from.
