‘I love politics, not cows’, Maulana Madani’s big attack on BJP

Tezzbuzz Desk – Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind President Maulana Arshad Madani has once again given a big statement targeting the Central Government and BJP regarding the cow. He raised the question that if the majority of the country’s population considers the cow sacred and gives it the status of a mother, then why does the government not declare it as the ‘national animal’?

Maulana Madani said that BJP and the government do not have true respect for the cow, rather this issue is used for politics and vote bank. He alleged that such issues are deliberately raised at the time of elections to inflame people’s sentiments and create an atmosphere against Muslims.

He said that politics is being done in the name of cow and it is being used as an emotional weapon. According to Madani, many times innocent people are made victims of violence by spreading rumors or in the name of cattle smuggling. He claimed that the image of Muslims has been tarnished through continuous lies and propaganda, due to which a section of the society has started considering them as enemies of the cow.

Maulana Madani clearly said that if the government declares cow as the national animal, then the Muslim community will have no objection to it. He said that his organization would welcome this decision. Madani believes that after making such a law, incidents of mob lynching and violence in the name of cow can also be stopped.

He also said that not only Muslim organizations but many saints and sages have also been raising the demand for declaring cow as the national animal for a long time. Despite this, if the government is not showing seriousness on this issue, then it raises questions on the intentions of the government.

Maulana Madani also gave a big statement regarding Bakrid. He said that every year on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind appeals to the Muslims not to sacrifice those animals which are banned by law. He said that Islam does not allow any such work which hurts the sentiments of other religions.
