What has Sonam Wangchuk said?
Meanwhile, Sonam Wangchuk has released a video, in which he has made a special appeal to the public. In his video, he said, “Hello friends, I am barely able to contact you on the 18th day of my fast. Some are speaking with love, some are angry, and some have appealed to the court to force the government to eat me.”

The main reasons for not breaking the fast
He cited two main reasons for not breaking the fast. He said, “There are two things. First, if I eat, what message will it send? It will send a message to the government that there is no need for accountability. They just come, sit and leave. Second, my condition is not such that I will die in two-four days. I am undergoing many medical tests. I am normal after 18 days of fasting. I also had an ECG today. The medical report is not too bad, so I can walk for a few days. I am weak, my muscles are supporting me. No, but my heart is still working.
Calling all Schools, Colleges and Universities
Sonam Wangchuk appealed to the public, “So instead of asking you to break your fast, I request you to take a small step. Let’s gather in large numbers on July 20 to send a message to the government and come together here. I request all schools, colleges and universities to observe the day as Experiential Education Day under the New Education Policy (NEP). On that day, children will learn a unique lesson in political science, a piece of history and learn how democracy works.”

If we all bring this issue to Parliament, I will ensure that it is in the right hands. Before that, you can give a missed call to inform that you are coming and register your name on the website. We hope you will do this. You can give a missed call to 7011670115 to inform that you are coming. Jai Hind.”
