Uttar Pradesh cadre IAS officer Divya Mittal has resigned from his job. He also posted an emotional message on social media. After graduating from IITs and IIMs, he worked in London, then took the UPSC exam and got selected for IAS 13 years ago.
Divya wrote in the post that she has decided to resign voluntarily. His journey of 13 years has been unforgettable. Raised in modest circumstances, she worked tirelessly, studied at IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore, and then worked in London. But she wanted her handprints to be on the bricks that would build the India of her dreams. So, she returned to India and was lucky enough to crack the Civil Services exam and become an IAS officer.
Referring to his tenure, he wrote that he had the opportunity to do a lot and learned a lot. Deoria taught him that standing up for what is right is not an option, but a duty. Mirzapur taught him that “impossible” is not a fact, but only an opinion. And sitting at the feet of Mother Vindhyavasini, he learned that power comes not from rank, but from her grace and the trust of the people. The biggest lesson was that the dreams he had for himself had come true; Now he had to live the dreams he had for his people. The true peace of this life was seen in the eyes of the family who was given land rights for the first time, the disabled person who got a chance to live with dignity, and the farmer whose fields got water. Walking with them in their struggle, he learns that behind every government file there is a person, and to preserve their dignity is justice.
