‘If there were no missiles, US-Israel would have made Iran’s condition like Gaza’, Iranian President Pezeshkian roared in Pakistan

New Delhi: Iranian President Masoud Pejeshkian has given a big statement regarding his country’s missile program during his visit to Pakistan. He clearly said that Iran will not negotiate with any country on its defense capability and missile program. According to him, missiles are very important for the security of the country and because of them Iran is able to face external threats.

Missiles described as shield of security

During an event organized in Islamabad, Pejeshkian said that if Iran did not have a strong missile capability, America and Israel would have treated it the same way as was seen in Gaza. He claimed that missiles are Iran’s biggest security shield.

The Iranian President said that no compromise can be made on the country’s defense system. He believes that Iran will not accept any external pressure in matters related to national security.

Clear refusal to negotiate on missile program

Pejeshkian bluntly said that Iran’s missile program is not part of any international agreement or negotiations with America. He clarified that this issue has neither been discussed before nor will be discussed in the future.

He said that Iran has the right to take independent decisions regarding its defense capabilities and interference from any other country will not be accepted.

Accusations of double standards against America

The Iranian President also raised questions on America’s human rights policy. He said that some countries of the world are allowed to keep weapons and missiles, while constant pressure is put on Iran. He called this a double attitude.

Pakistan also supported

During this, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also said that there is no mention of ballistic missiles in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between America and Iran. He said that Iran’s missile program was not part of the talks between the two countries.

Sharif also said that there should not be different rules for different countries regarding defense capabilities at the global level. According to him, it cannot be considered appropriate to give rights to one country and deprive others of them.
