“If UP loses in 2027, there will be no elections again in the country” – Akhilesh Yadav’s big claim in Kasganj, targeting BJP government

Kasganj. Samajwadi Party national president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav reached Kasganj on Friday, where he inaugurated Urmila Garden. During this time, former MP Kunwar Devendra Singh Yadav again joined Samajwadi Party.

While addressing the public meeting, Akhilesh Yadav made sharp attacks on the central and state governments. He said that the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections of 2027 are very important for the democracy of the country. He claimed that if the opposition loses this election, it will be difficult to see fair elections in the future in the country. Citing the recent West Bengal elections, he alleged that public votes have been ignored.

Targeting the BJP government over inflation and petrol prices, Akhilesh Yadav said that the government has failed to build smart cities, but is putting additional economic burden on the public by installing smart electricity meters. He said that petrol prices have reached above Rs 100 per liter and ethanol is being mixed in it. According to him, the engines of vehicles are being affected by this adulteration.

Commenting on foreign policy, the SP chief said that the Indian government seems to be moving in the same direction as US President Donald Trump says. He alleged that the country’s economic policies are being made keeping in mind foreign interests and the BJP government has weakened the Indian market. He said, “BJP people talk about Swadeshi, but their thinking is foreign.”

He also cornered the government regarding education and liquor policy. Akhilesh Yadav alleged that government primary schools are being closed in the state, while liquor shops are being allowed to continue. Taking a dig at Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he said that instead of promoting development and sports, the government is only doing bulldozer politics. He alleged that the bulldozing action was being carried out specifically targeting the PDA (Backward, Dalit and Minority) class.

A large number of Samajwadi Party workers and supporters were present during the meeting.
