Heavy rain in 17 states in next 12 hours, storm will move at speed

At present, the scourge of scorching heat and scorching sun continues in many parts of the country. People are suffering from the heat of the sun, but in the meantime the Meteorological Department (IMD) has given a big and relief news. According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is going to be a big change in the weather of the country. Within the next 12 hours, i.e. today, June 7 (Sunday), there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in 17 states of the country including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra and Kerala. During this period the weather can also be quite aggressive. The department has warned that along with the rain, destructive strong winds (storm) can blow at a speed of 80 to 90 kilometers per hour. Apart from the plains, an alert of torrential rain has also been issued in the hilly and North-Eastern states.

Monsoon speed: How far has the monsoon reached?

It is a matter of relief that the South-West Monsoon is progressing very fast.

Covered these states: Monsoon has arrived in Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and a large part of Northeast India.

Plan for the next 7 days: According to IMD, heavy rains will continue in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and North-Eastern states for the next one week.

Delhi-NCR: Movement of clouds and increasing heat

The country’s capital Delhi will be partly cloudy on June 7, due to which the effect of sunlight may be slightly reduced. Today the maximum temperature of Delhi is expected to be between 38 to 40 degrees Celsius and winds will blow at a speed of 15 km/hour. However, this relief does not last long. On June 8 and 9, the sky will be completely clear, due to which the sunlight will be intense and the temperature will rise to 41 to 42 degrees. Heat wave may start again in Delhi-NCR between June 8 and 12.

Rain in Uttar Pradesh, double attack of heat wave in the west

Two different colors of weather will be seen in UP. Today, on June 7, there is an alert of rain with thunder and strong winds in many districts including Azamgarh, Mau, Deoria, Jaunpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Ayodhya and Gonda. There is a possibility of rain in Eastern UP on June 10-12, but in between June 9-10, one may have to face heat wave. There will be a severe heat wave here from June 9 to 11. After this, people will get relief from the heat due to rain on 11th and 12th June.

‘Orange alert’ of storm and rain in many districts of Bihar

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of thunderstorm and rain for the people of Bihar today. In districts like Patna, Saran, Buxar, Gaya, Nalanda, Vaishali, Jamui and Rohtas, water may fall with strong winds. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Bhagalpur and Banka. Apart from this, heavy rain is expected in many parts of the state on June 9 and 10.

Dust storm and heat wave havoc in Rajasthan

At present there is little chance of getting relief from the heat in Rajasthan. There is a possibility of dust storm and hot weather in many districts including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Kota and Udaipur. However, sporadic drizzle may occur at some places. A strict warning of severe heat wave has been issued in the areas of Western Rajasthan between June 8 and 12.

Himachal and Uttarakhand: Weather will deteriorate in the mountains

An alert has been issued for tourists and local people visiting the hilly states. Rain and thunderstorm activities will continue in Himachal’s Shimla, Kullu, Manali, Kangra, Chamba and Mandi today and tomorrow (7-8 June). After this, another round of rain will come on June 11-12. The weather will remain bad for the next few days in areas like Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Rishikesh and Almora of Uttarakhand. Especially on June 11 and 12, an alert has been issued for strong storm, lightning and heavy rain.
