Unnao. The ongoing family dispute over division of house in Ganjmuradabad of the district turned into a bloody conflict on Wednesday morning. Dilshad Mochi alias Pappu, 35, was allegedly attacked with sharp weapons by his father Murtaza and brothers. Seriously injured Dilshad somehow came out of the house and fell about 20 meters away, where he died.
There was a long standing dispute regarding division of the house.
The matter is of Khatriyana locality of Ganjmuradabad town of Bangarmau Kotwali area. Dilshad used to support his family by driving a loader. There was a long standing dispute in the family regarding distribution of house and property.
According to Sufia Bano, wife of the deceased, there was a dispute in the house on Tuesday regarding keeping the washing machine. During this period he was also allegedly assaulted. He informed on dial-112, after which the police reached the spot and returned after convincing the family members. The wife alleges that later there was another dispute, but no concrete action was taken by the police.

On Wednesday morning, Dilshad had come with his wife and child to collect clothes from home. It is alleged that as soon as he reached inside the house, his father Murtaza and brothers surrounded him. The door was closed from inside and he was beaten.
Dilshad somehow managed to get out by opening the latch, but the accused chased him and stabbed him several times with a sharp weapon. Seriously injured Dilshad fell on the road after running for about 20 meters. He died on the spot.
Wife accused police of negligence
After the death of her husband, Sufia Bano raised questions on the working style of the police. He says that despite receiving information about the dispute on Tuesday, the police did not take the matter seriously. He alleged that if action had been taken in time, this incident could have been avoided.
The wife also stopped the police from picking up the body. After a long conversation between the police and the family, the body was sent for post-mortem.
FIR against father and three brothers
On the complaint of the deceased's wife, the police have registered an FIR for murder against father Murtaza and three brothers Shahzad, Ejaz and Irshad. According to the police, initial investigation revealed that the reason for the murder was a dispute over division of the house.
The police have detained the accused father Murtaza and disabled brother Irshad, while the search is on for other accused. A brother-in-law present in the house is also being interrogated.
