In compliance with the instructions given by Executive Engineer Dilip Kumar, Power Distribution Division Pipri and under the supervision of Assistant Engineer Dhirendra Kumar, a morning raid was conducted on Wednesday in the selected feeder Ramgarh, Cone of Cone sub-station to reduce line losses and AT&C losses from the month of September 2026. In which illegal connection holders and defaulting consumers had to face a lot of trouble.
In the sequence, Junior Engineer Ajay Kumar Gupta told that after conducting Manning Raid, 22 Nos. FIR was lodged and 7 Nos. LMV 1 to LMV-2, 05 Nos Smart Meters were installed and 32 consumers whose outstanding amount was around Rs 960000. As a result, the line was disconnected and Rs 105000 was taken as part payment from 30 consumers. He further said that the morning raid will continue further with the aim of reducing line losses.
He appealed to the consumers connected to the sub-station to use electricity only after taking a valid connection and to deposit the pending electricity bills immediately.
