Now the second ODI match between India and Afghanistan will be played at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Both the teams have reached Lucknow for this match. Team India won the first match and took a 1-0 lead in the series. In such a situation, Team India, captained by Shubman Gill, would like to win the second ODI and win the series. Whereas the Afghanistan team would also like to give a tough challenge to the Indian team. Both teams will begin practice on Tuesday, June 16.

Team India reached Lucknow

Due to the arrival of players in Lucknow, security arrangements have been tightened there. There are tight security arrangements everywhere from the airport to the team hotel and stadium. All the players including Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh were seen together in the airport. Let us tell you that Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya are out of this ODI series. Kohli has a serious hamstring injury. Whereas Hardik Pandya was out of the series due to strain in his thigh muscles during the fitness test. In the first ODI match played in Dharamshala, the Indian team defeated Afghanistan by 7 wickets. Captain Shubhman Gill had played an inning of 84 runs. KL Rahul scored 39 runs and Ishan Kishan played a role in helping the team win by scoring 34 runs. However, for Afghanistan, opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz had scored a brilliant century. He played a stormy innings and scored 102 runs in just 51 balls. In such a situation, Team India needs to be cautious of Afghanistan’s top order batsmen. Indian bowlers will have to get him out quickly.

Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer failed to play big innings in the first ODI match. Rohit Sharma was run out after scoring 16 runs. Whereas Shreyas Iyer was out after scoring only 12 runs. At the same time, Indian batsmen will have to avoid Afghanistan’s spinners, because the biggest strength of the Afghan team is their spin bowling.
