According to the information, Harshit Rana was out of the team due to injury for a long time, but now he has returned fully fit. He completed his rehab at the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru and joined Team India in Chennai after passing the fitness test.
Harshit Rana has not played any international match since January 2026. Due to injury, he could not even participate in IPL 2026. In such a situation, this match is being considered as a big opportunity for him to make a comeback.
It is worth noting that Harshit Rana has also been included in the T20 team for the upcoming Ireland tour and England tour. In such a situation, this ODI match can prove to be an important preparation opportunity for them.
