IND vs SL: The second match of the two-Test series between India and Sri Lanka is being played at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo. The fourth day's play ended prematurely due to rain. Sri Lankan team, playing follow-on, has scored 229 runs for 6 wickets in its second innings and has taken a lead of 16 runs. Sri Lanka's star batsman Pasindu Suriyabandara missed a century on the fourth day of the Colombo Test. He played an inning of 92 runs. Manav Suthar sent Pasindu to the pavilion after getting him stumped by wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant. Let us tell you that Manav Suthar had woven a net to take the wicket of Pasindu, in which Pasindu Suriyabandara got trapped and lost his wicket. In this way Team India got a big success.
Pasindu Suriyabandara had reached close to a century
Manav Suthar came to bowl the 61st over of the second innings of Sri Lanka's follow-on in the Colombo Test. At that time Pasindu Suriyabandara was batting on 92 runs and was very close to his first Test century. One ball earlier, he was saved from DRS review on the appeal of LBW, after which Rishabh Pant standing behind the wicket realized that Pasindu was a little nervous and would try to defend or stop the ball by coming out of the crease, because Pasindu was continuously stopping the ball by coming out of the crease.
This is how Manav Suthar made Pasindu Suriyabandara his victim.
Manav Suthar strategically bowled the third ball of the 61st over well outside the off stump, i.e. on the wider line. Pasindu went far ahead of the crease and tried to shoot the ball going wide, but the ball went into the gloves of wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant and Pant without making any mistake hit the ball on the stumps, due to which Pasindu did not get any chance to return to the crease. In this way, Manav Suthar trapped Pasindu in his net and took his wicket. Pasindu Suriyabandara played an inning of 92 runs in 173 balls, which included 10 fours and one six.

Manav Suthar is bowling lethal bowling against Sri Lanka
Manav Suthar is playing only his third test match for India. He is playing Test on foreign soil for the first time. Manav Suthar bowled amazingly in both the test matches against Sri Lanka and impressed everyone. He played an important role in helping Team India win the first test match played in Galle. He took 4 wickets in the first innings of the Galle Test. Whereas in the second innings he created a stir by taking 6 wickets. Suthar took a total of 10 wickets in the Galle Test. Now Manav Suthar remains the hope of Team India in the Colombo Test also. In the first innings of this match, he played an important role in getting Sri Lanka out early by taking 3 wickets and forcing the follow on. Whereas in the second innings of Sri Lanka, Suthar has taken maximum 2 wickets. Now when the play starts on the fifth day of Colombo Test, Team India would like to end the innings by taking the remaining 4 wickets of Sri Lanka as soon as possible, so that they can get a very small target and can win the match. In such a situation, the Indian team will depend a lot on Suthar.
