The warm-up match will be played from August 7 to 9.

The practice match between the Indian team and Sri Lanka XI will now be played from August 7 to 9 at the NCC Ground in Colombo . It was previously scheduled to be a four-day match. This ground is located near the SSC Stadium , the venue for the second Test.

The Indian team will leave for Sri Lanka on August 4 .

BCCI informed the team

The BCCI had announced a four-day warm-up match during team selection, but now the players and team management have been informed of this change. However, the official reason behind the shortened match duration has not yet been revealed.
