Abhishek Sharma holds the world record for fastest 2000 runs in T20I

Delhi: Indian team's young opening batsman Abhishek Sharma has made a big world record in his name by showing his batting prowess in T20 International cricket. He has achieved the feat of completing two thousand runs in the fewest number of balls. With this achievement, Abhishek left Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav behind and set a new record in T20 cricket.

Big achievement achieved in Holkar Stadium

As soon as Abhishek Sharma scored the 33rd run of his innings during the match being played at Holkar Stadium in Indore, he reached a special position in the list of batsmen who have completed two thousand runs in T20 International. His aggressive batting and ability to score runs quickly played an important role in him reaching this record.

Suryakumar Yadav left behind

Before Abhishek Sharma, this record was recorded in the name of Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav. Suryakumar faced 1164 balls to complete his two thousand runs in T20 International. Now Abhishek has set a new record by achieving this figure in less balls than him.

Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell also included in the list

Former Australian captain Aaron Finch and legendary all-rounder Glenn Maxwell are also included in the list of this record. Finch had played 1283 balls to complete two thousand runs in T20 International, while Maxwell had faced 1304 balls to reach this feat.

At the same time, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya had completed two thousand runs in 1390 balls. New Zealand batsman Tim Seifert had played 1395 balls to achieve this milestone.
