Thus, the series is tied at 2-2 and the result of the series is decided in the last match. West Indies challenged India to 248 for 3 on the strength of captain Shai Hope's (102 not out) century.
On the other hand, despite having the best batsman in T20 in the team, the Indian team could not put up this huge mountain of runs. As a result, India managed to reach 223 runs for 9 balls. India had lost the toss in three matches of the series, but in the fourth match, India won the toss and opted to field first, but it did not go well.

Rain of runs from West Indies

Jewel Andrew and captain Shai Hope opened the West Indies innings. But Jewel was out after scoring only 21 runs. Then Shimran Hetmyer and Shai Hope kept West Indies in charge. It was seen that he emphasized on increasing the score without losing more wickets in the power play. Shimran Hetmyer was dismissed for 33 runs. Romwen Powell also returned with 24 runs.

Sherfan Rutherford and captain Shai Hope took West Indies past 200. Both played a very aggressive game. Meanwhile, Hope scored an unbeaten 102 off 50 balls with the help of 9 sixes and 4 fours. Rutherford remained unbeaten on 49 runs in 26 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes.

India's bowlers did not shine in this match as well. Although Arshdeep Singh, Akshar Patel and Prince Yadav got 1 wicket each, they were well washed by the West Indies batsmen.

Good start for India but…

At one point in the fourth over i.e. in the power play, India's position was 60 not out. This included opener Sanju Samson's 56 runs. But the other opener, Abhishek Sharma, was seen to be playing well. Shai Hope called on Kimo Paul to bowl the fifth over. Paul lived up to the captain's faith by dismissing Sanju early in the over, then three balls after him dismissed Ishaan Kishan (6) to give India two shocks.

Sanju scored his half century in just 20 balls. But in an over-aggressive tone, he caught Shimren Hetmyer near the boundary. He scored 56 runs in 23 balls with the help of 6 fours and 4 sixes. Captain Shreyas Iyer (16), who came in to bat at number four, supported Abhishek for a while, but he too could not stay on the pitch for long.

Gudakesh Moti hit Abhishek Sharma (29) and Naman Dhir back-to-back in the 11th over of the innings. At the last moment, Tilak Verma (43) and Nitish Reddy (41) opened the batting with a bang, but they could not lead the team to victory. Kimo Paul took 5 wickets from West Indies.
