Two matches of the three-match T20 series being played between India and Afghanistan have taken place. The second match of the series was played on 15 September at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Like the first match, in the second match too, the Indian team performed brilliantly and defeated Afghanistan by 7 wickets in 31 balls. With this victory, India has captured the three-match series 2-0.
In the second match, everyone from the bowlers to the batsmen of the Indian team performed brilliantly. On one hand, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Arshdeep Singh took wickets, while on the other hand, openers Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma gave a good start to the team. Now the last match of the series between the two teams will be played on September 17.

Afghanistan's innings
The Afghanistan team, which came to bat first, made a good start. In the powerplay, the team scored 41 runs at the loss of 1 wicket. After this, the Afghanistan team could not save its wicket in the middle overs and faltered completely. Between 7 and 15 overs, the team lost 5 wickets and could score only 64 runs. After this the team made a comeback in the death overs. Afghanistan scored 54 runs after losing 2 wickets in 16 to 20 overs. In this way the team somehow managed to reach 159 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.

For Afghanistan, captain Ibrahim Zadran scored the highest score of 37 runs in 33 balls. Rashid Khan scored 28 runs and Darvish Rasooli scored 26 runs. At the same time, Nitish Kumar Reddy took maximum 3 wickets from the Indian team. Arshdeep Singh got 2 wickets, while Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi took 1 wicket each.
India's innings
The Indian team got off to a great start and scored quickly in the powerplay. Between 1 and 6 overs, the team added 82 runs without losing any wicket. After this, India lost 3 wickets between 7 and 15 overs but during this period the team also scored 81 runs. In this way, India achieved the target by scoring 163 runs at the loss of 3 wickets in 14.5 overs and won the match by 7 wickets with 31 balls remaining.

In this innings, Sanju Samson scored the maximum 57 runs for India. Abhishek Sharma played an inning of 39 runs, while Ishan Kishan remained unbeaten after scoring 38 runs. Rashid Khan was the most successful bowler for Afghanistan and he took 3 wickets alone.
