Change in timing of India-Ireland T20 matches, now matches will start from this time, know the reason
Delhi: The two-match T20 series between India and Ireland is to start from Friday. Earlier, Cricket Ireland (CI) has taken a big decision and changed the timing of the matches. The board has taken this decision keeping in mind the match to be held between India and Australia on June 28 in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.

Time changed for India-Ireland match
Both the matches between India and Ireland were to start at 7 pm Indian time. But according to Cricbuzz, now the match will start one hour earlier i.e. at 6 pm. Cricket Ireland has changed the timing of matches to reduce overlap. The board has tried to avoid conflict, at least partially. The schedule of the Women’s T20 World Cup was also kept in mind while deciding the start time of India’s matches.
Three debutants can play in the match for India
Three players from India can debut in the first T20 against Ireland. The first name in this list will be that of Vaibhav Suryavanshi. The discussion about Suryavanshi’s debut was going on for a long time. Apart from him, Suryansh Shedge may get a chance to play as a fast bowling all-rounder. Prince Yadav can also be seen debuting as a fast bowler.
