PM Modi Independence Day 2026 Speech: On the historic occasion of 80th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort, presented the detailed roadmap of 'Developed India 2047' before the countrymen. In his speech, PM Modi laid maximum emphasis on youth, modern technology, self-reliance and major economic reforms in the country.

Prime Minister Modi reiterated his resolve to make India a developed nation by 2047 and called it a common and collective goal of more than 140 crore countrymen.

While presenting the figures, the Prime Minister said that before 2014, piped gas was available in only 70 cities, whereas today more than 700 cities of the country have been connected to this modern facility.
