“Indian Muslims are in danger, now the situation is going to be like Gaza and Myanmar!” Statement of former MP Mohammad Adeeb created panic
In today’s political era, discussions are going on everywhere regarding the direction the country’s politics will take. Meanwhile, former Rajya Sabha MP Mohammad Adeeb has made a claim which has created a stir in the political circles of the country. Mohammad Adeeb has directly alleged that Muslims are in danger in India at this time. He said that the country is now burning in the storm of hatred and a new process of cutting Muslim votes (through SIR) has started. The former MP believes that if this country and the Constitution are to be saved, then Muslims should completely withdraw from politics. During this, he has also raised serious questions on the politics of Asaduddin Owaisi.
After all, why should Muslims retreat from voting and politics?
When Mohammad Adeeb was asked why Indian Muslims should not vote, he replied candidly. He says that Muslims have tried all the experiences of politics. He has gone to see every political party in the country, but the situation has completely changed in the last ten years. Today in this country, Muslims have been reduced to a mere ‘catalyst’.
The former MP took a sharp taunt and said that today elections in the country are not won on the issues of development, livelihood and employment, but elections are won only on the issue of how to teach a lesson to Muslims. This is what is celebrated. As long as Muslims remain a part of this political game, the politics of hatred will not stop. Therefore, the only way left to save the country is for Muslims to distance themselves from this electoral race. Giving the example of West Bengal, he said that there too such statements have started coming that Muslims did not vote for any particular party.
Will voting rights be taken away by not voting?
On the big question that if the Muslim community does not vote, will the risk of their rights being snatched away not increase? On this Mohammad Adeeb cited the ground reality. He said what is getting better even today? While walking on the road, inside or outside the mosque, Muslims have to prove their identity. The Prime Minister himself has talked about identification by clothes, which means that our identity has already been decided as a villain. Bulldozers in the country mostly run on the houses of Muslims. Recently, after the election results of Bengal, bands played in front of mosques, which is also being monitored by the police and courts.
Mohammad Adeeb revealed that when he put forward this idea, many Muslims supported his point. But on the other hand, many non-Muslims abused him and raised slogans of ‘Go to Pakistan’. He taunted and said that the own children of the leaders who spread hatred are going to foreign countries and taking citizenship there, but only the common Muslims are being targeted. The only solution is that all opposition parties have to unite. If political parties are not ready to fight together, then Muslims should stay away from the elections.
The situation in the country is becoming like Myanmar and Gaza.
While talking about the current situation of Muslim society in India, the former MP expressed very scary apprehensions. He said that the status of India’s Muslims is now going to be like that of Myanmar’s Rohingya. We have not yet become Palestinians of Gaza, but if the courts of the country remain silent like this and this atmosphere of hatred continues in the police administration, then that day is not far. Referring to the attack on a Muslim youth in Bhopal, he said that the accused were seen roaming under the protection of the police. If the police and courts in the country work with complete honesty, then only everyone will be equal under the Constitution.
Can Congress and regional parties be trusted?
Adeeb also made a big attack on the parties called secular like Congress, SP and RJD. He said that today every political party in the country is living in fear that its ‘Hindu vote bank’ might slip. He is fully confident that Muslims will vote for him out of compulsion. Taking advantage of this compulsion, parties remain silent on the issues of Muslims. Swords are waved at our mosques, but no so-called secular leader takes to the streets.
Muslims sometimes keep running after Lalu, sometimes Mulayam and sometimes Congress, but only get frustrated. Taking advantage of this frustration, leaders like Asaduddin Owaisi come forward. Owaisi has no concrete alternative, but the desperate Muslim society is forced to follow him. He said that the secular Hindu section of the country also loses elections because of supporting Muslims and is called a traitor, we have to worry about their safety too.
What will be the benefit of staying away from politics?
Mohammad Adeeb justified his point by giving examples of some communities within the Muslim society. He said that there are also small communities in the Muslim society like Bohra and Khoja, which never become a part of electoral politics. This is why they are the happiest and most secure today.
Therefore, all Muslims should completely stay away from this quagmire of politics. They should focus only on their education, business and progress. However, he also admitted that there is definitely a section of the society which, instead of working hard, wants to enter politics only to earn money and plunder through power. But it is better for a common Muslim, who is earning his livelihood by street hawking, to stay away from this political game.
