This facility is applicable for regular education students. For female students this concession is available till graduation, while for male students it is limited to 12th. Hence, it is of great benefit to school and college students.
There are some rules to follow for this pass. Only Monthly Pass (MST) is given under this scheme, Quarterly Pass (QST) is not available. The maximum travel limit is 150 kilometers and this pass is valid for Second Class travel only. Also, this pass cannot be used in mail, express or superfast trains.
