National President of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Asaduddin Owaisi has become active in Uttar Pradesh after taking the party to a better position in Bihar. Five MLAs of AIMIM, which fought alone in Bihar, have reached Bihar Assembly after winning from Muslim dominated areas. In such a situation, Owaisi's activism just before the assembly elections 2027 in UP has created concern in the Samajwadi Party, Congress and Bahujan Samaj Party camps. The five-time Lok Sabha MP from Hyderabad has recently held several rallies in Azamgarh and Kanpur. In these rallies, he talked about strengthening the party and asking for votes from the people and sending party MLAs to the assembly.
Owaisi is continuously holding rallies in UP to strengthen his party AIMIM. In these rallies, apart from the ruling BJP, he is attacking the Samajwadi Party the most. Owaisi is saying that those who call themselves secular are the biggest sinners, who have always kept Muslims behind. He said that in UP, 70 percent of children above 15 years of age are not able to complete their primary education, the monthly expenditure in Muslim families of UP is Rs 755.

In UP, 48 percent people do not have land, while 25 percent Hindi are landless. He said that his fight is for justice. He accused him of putting the future of Muslim children in darkness. In this rally in Kanpur, Owaisi said that those who call themselves secular are the biggest sinners. He announced from here that there will be AIMIM candidate in Kanpur and he himself will come to Kanpur for election campaign.
Will Owaisi make Kanpur a battle?
MP Owaisi also attacked CM Yogi Adityanath in this rally in Kanpur. He said that CM Yogi was making fun of your elders with the British and we were exposing our chests to the British bullets. Yogi government is targeting madrassas and closing them. He also said that today the Yogi government is targeting the same madrassas in Kanpur from where fatwas were issued against the British.
Owaisi also attacked SP chief Akhilesh Yadav in a similar manner in a rally in Azamgarh. He said that when a medical college can be built in Saifai, then why can't it be built in Azamgarh? If an airstrip can be built in Saifai for landing, then why can't it be built in Azamgarh?
'Aajtak cheated in the name of secularism'
He said, 'I request you that since independence till today, you have voted for him in the name of secularism, which was never true secularism. For how long will you trust those people? These people take your votes and watch the scenes of your destruction with pleasure. You all support AIMIM once. We will truly work for social justice. We will work with Dalit and OBC brothers along with Muslims. But remember that the parties and leaders for whom you voted with your wallet did not do anything for you.

Will you light up others' homes?
Owaisi further said, 'BJP is there…if you want to stop BJP then won't you light a lamp in your house, tell me? Will you light up the homes of others by lighting up your home? What fighting style is this… tell me? Protect your home and then fight the enemy. We ruined our house and gave everyone the title of 'Bhaiya', sometimes to Bhaiya's father, to GB Pant and sometimes to Nehru. Tell me what you got?'

Further, Asaduddin Owaisi told the Muslim voters of UP, 'I appeal to you to keep Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen strong. Use your vote. There is no need to be afraid and panic.
