According to reports, this model can be launched in the market in the first half of next year. The new phone is expected to get many changes related to screen, processor, camera and RAM. After introducing the Pro model in September 2026, the company may launch the standard iPhone 18 in the first half of 2027. However, the company has not confirmed its official date or features. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, a 6.3-inch OLED display can be given in the phone. It is expected to have 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. This can improve the scrolling and video watching experience. Dynamic Island and Face ID are likely to remain in the design. For performance, the company can provide new A20 chip in it. According to reports, this processor will be prepared on 2nm technology. This is expected to improve the speed and power efficiency of the phone. The device can perform better and heat up less even when running heavy apps and multitasking.
Major changes possible in camera and RAM also
Two cameras can be provided at the back of the phone for photography. Both can be of 48 megapixels. Some reports claim to have a 24-megapixel selfie sensor. Analysts have different opinions regarding RAM. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, it may have 9GB of RAM, while Jeff Pu has expressed the possibility of getting 12GB of RAM. With more RAM, Apple Intelligence features will be able to run better on the phone.
Will iPhone 18 be costlier than Rs 1 lakh?
There are indications of increase in prices also. Digital Chat Station claims that the new model may be costlier than the current price, but no figures have been revealed yet. In such a situation, its price in India is likely to go above Rs 1 lakh. Apple has not given official information on price and availability.
