IPL-19: Hazlewood and Bhuvi tied DC’s bundle at 75, RCB’s resounding victory with 81 balls remaining.

New Delhi, 27 April. While mountains of runs are being seen in most of the matches of Tata Indian Premier League (IPL-19), the minimum score of the current season was also revealed on Monday, when Josh Hazlewood (4-12) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3-5) bundled out Delhi Capitals (DC) for just 75 runs. After that, the current champion Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) not only settled the score with Delhi with a resounding victory of nine wickets with 81 balls remaining but also strengthened its position at second place in the points table.

Jacob Bethal (20 runs, 11 balls, two sixes, one four) and Virat Kohli (23 not out, 15 balls, two sixes, one four) made a fast start. However, in the third over, Bethal fell victim to Jamieson at the score of 26.

RCB leveled the score of defeat in Bengaluru

RCB now has 12 points from its sixth win in eight matches and is just one point behind leaders Punjab Kings (13 points from seven matches). Interestingly, on April 18 in Bengaluru, Delhi Capitals defeated RCB by six wickets with one ball remaining. But now Rajat Patidar’s team settled the score with full force in his house from Delhi. At the same time, Akshar Patel & Company, which suffered its third consecutive defeat, is lagging behind in seventh place with six points after its fifth defeat in eight matches.
