IPL-19: Priyansh and Connolly gave the highest score of the season to Punjab Kings, LSG’s third consecutive defeat.

Punjab Kings (PBKS), the only unbeatable team so far in the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL-19), not only registered their name on the highest score of the current season amidst a mighty performance with bat and ball in front of the home crowd on Sunday night but also retained their top position in the points table with an impressive 54-run win over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

Hosts reached 254 runs with the explosive fifties of Priyansh and Cooper

Opting to bat first at the Maharaja Yadvinder Singh International Cricket Stadium, the home team scored a mountain-like score of 254 runs for seven wickets due to the explosive innings of two young left-handed batsmen – Delhi resident Priyansh Arya (93 runs, 37 balls, nine sixes, four fours) and Australian Cooper Connolly (87 runs, 46 balls, seven sixes, eight fours) and a valuable century partnership between them.
