IPL 2026: Chennai won the toss against Lucknow, decided to bowl first

Chennai. Chennai Super Kings won the toss and decided to bowl first against Lucknow Super Giants in the 53rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Sunday. Here today, Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad said that the pitch has been under cover for a long time and there has been light rain so we will bowl first.

In the previous day’s match we had seen that the pitch was behaving quite differently. In the beginning we will watch a few overs to see what the ball is doing and then try to restrict them to minimum score. There has been no change in the team.
