iQOO has revealed more details about the display of its upcoming iQOO Neo12 smartphone, which is scheduled to launch in China this month. The phone will feature a 2K AMOLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate, peak full-screen brightness of 2,200 nits and a minimum brightness of 1 nit.
The display has been developed by Visionox and uses p-TSF technology. iQOO has also highlighted several gaming-focused features designed to improve visuals and touch response.

iQOO Neo12 Display Specifications
The iQOO Neo12 will feature a 2K resolution AMOLED panel with a 185Hz refresh rate. According to the company, the screen will use new Sky Mirror luminescent material and a dedicated high-performance driver chip supporting 2K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate.
The display will offer a minimum brightness of 1 nit, which could help reduce screen brightness in dark environments. Its peak full-screen brightness will reach 2,200 nits.
2K Gaming and 185 FPS Support
iQOO says the Neo12 will support 2K super-resolution and 185 FPS super-frame processing. The company describes this combination as an industry first.
The smartphone will also support native 2K gaming profiles and be compatible with more than 50 games that support native 185 FPS gameplay.
Additional gaming features will include hardware-accelerated ray tracing, glare protection, an in-game camera tool and game visual filters. The phone will also feature Q-flex touch control technology introduced with the iQOO 16.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Q3 Gaming Chip
iQOO has already confirmed that the Neo12 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with a dedicated Q3 gaming chip.
The combination is expected to support the phone’s gaming-focused features, including high-refresh-rate gameplay and advanced visual processing.
9,000mAh Battery and Other Features
The iQOO Neo12 will pack a large 9,000mAh battery. However, the company has not yet revealed the phone’s charging speed.
The smartphone will also feature a metal frame and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner integrated into the display.
More details about the device are expected to emerge around its launch in China later this month.
