Iran is crushing the US base in the Middle East! Yet the eccentric Trump says ‘We are the guardians of Hormuz’

Iran has once again announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Dismissing that claim, US President Donald Trump claimed that the control of one of the world’s waterways is now in the hands of America. Not only that. That’s why he demanded money. However, Iran is continuously attacking US bases in the Middle East. Tehran’s army claimed that they destroyed US bases in Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait in three rounds of drone and missile attacks. Destroyed fuel tanks, Patriot air defense systems, radars – everything. Even in this situation, Trump made such a claim.

“We’re going to keep the system to ourselves. And maybe we’re going to run it. We’re going to be the custodians of the system. And we should be compensated for that,” he was quoted as saying in an interview with Fox News. The same claim was made earlier by the US Central Command. It was reported that the Strait of Hormuz is not under the control of Iran. And this important waterway is completely open for navigation. This time, however, Trump is claiming that Hormuz is under their control.

The initial peace agreement signed between Iran and the US is currently in its 20s. The unrest has started again after the attack on the ship in Hormuz. In this situation, Tehran announced the closure of this system on Saturday. And since then, the debate has become more and more intense. Iran has already made its position on the Hormuz issue clear, “This is our territorial waters. We will not deviate from our position under any circumstances.” Claiming that Hormuz is a gift from Allah, Iran’s parliament speaker Ghalibaf said, “The Strait of Hormuz is the gift Allah has given us during this war. It is our greatest source of strength.” It remains to be seen if Tehran responds after Trump talks about bringing the system under their control.
