Iran has set seven conditions for starting talks with America. These terms have been conveyed to Washington through Qatari mediators. Iran has clearly said that if America does not accept its demands then it is ready for a decisive war. Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, said that Tehran is now waiting for a response from US President Donald Trump.
“We are in contact with the mediator Qatar,” Rezaei told Al Jazeera. Qatar has conveyed our conditions to Washington for ending the war. Now we are waiting for President Trump's reply.
Demand to end the war and release frozen money
According to Rezai, Iran's conditions include ending the war on all fronts, releasing Iranian funds frozen abroad and ending the naval blockade. Rezaei also said in a separate post on social media platform X that Iran has set seven conditions for starting talks with the US. He stated Tehran's position clearly and without any ambiguity.
According to Al Jazeera, Rezaei said it is in Washington's interest to accept these terms. Trump's threats will yield no results. We are ready for a decisive war.
Qatar and Pakistan are busy in resuming talks
According to Al Jazeera, Qatar and Pakistan are trying to restart talks between Tehran and Washington after a memorandum of understanding expired last month. Many countries in the region are also making efforts to end the conflict. This conflict started after the attacks on Iran by America and Israel in late February.
Iran issued code 100
According to reports, Iran has issued its highest alert level code 100 for all its armed forces including IRGC, army and security forces. Anticipating the situation to worsen, Trump cut short his weekend vacation at Camp David and is returning to the White House tonight. Netanyahu has also decided to end his US trip midway and return to Israel. All US embassies in the Middle East have issued security alerts in the last few hours.
Iran fears American attack again
Mohsin Rezai did not rule out the possibility of another attack from the US. He said that according to Iranian military assessment, the possibility of this happening is very high. He said that Iran is prepared for such a situation and has changed its military strategy after the first two rounds of fighting.
According to Rezaei, Iran's current military planning focuses on US naval bases and assets from the Gulf to the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea.
He also claimed that Iran recently tested a multiple-warhead anti-ship missile near a US ship or aircraft carrier.
Warning to target American bases and companies
The Iranian security chief warned that if Iran is attacked in the future, its retaliation could be on a large scale. He said that along with the American military bases present in the region, American business interests and American companies working at the local level can also be targeted.
When Rezai was asked if the war could end soon, he said, “In practice, the war is still going on.” However, he also said that Tehran's strategy is towards ending the conflict as quickly as possible.
Iran refuses to change nuclear policy
On Iran's nuclear program, Rezai said that Tehran has not decided to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty or NPT. However, he warned that America's actions could push Iran towards taking such a decision.
He said that there has been no change in Iran's nuclear policy. Tehran is still following religious orders prohibiting the use of nuclear weapons.
