Jacqueline’s U-turn in Sukesh case! Expressed desire to become a government witness, Mahathug’s problems may increase

Jacqueline Fernandez: Major thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar is currently in jail. At present he has got bail in 26 out of 31 cases. There are 5 such cases on which no decision has been taken yet. This is because Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandes has said in the Delhi court that she wants to become a government witness in this case, if this happens then Sukesh’s troubles may increase even more in the coming days.

After listening to Jacqueline, the court said that for this she can not apply directly to the court but can first apply to the Enforcement Directorate i.e. ED. Only after this can he be made a government witness. According to the existing law, the process of making an accused or a related person a government witness starts through the investigating agency only. No one can become a direct government witness.

Will Jacqueline be a witness?

Now after the advice of the court, if Jacqueline applies to the ED to become a government witness. So first the agency will record their statements. After this it will be decided whether he should be made a witness or not. After this ED can file its report in the court.

The entire incident has come at a time when, just a few months ago, the Supreme Court had rejected Jacqueline’s petition, in which she had demanded quashing of the criminal proceedings against her.

What are the allegations against Sukesh Chandrashekhar?

Sukesh Chandrashekhar is identified as a big thug. He is accused of targeting many people by defrauding them of crores of rupees. According to D, Sukesh had given expensive gifts worth crores of rupees to Jacqueline. These included luxury cars, expensive jewellery, designer clothes and other valuables.

The investigating agency claims that Jacqueline was aware of Mukesh’s criminal background, yet she had given him gifts worth more than Rs 7 crore. Although Jacqueline has always denied these allegations. The actress says that Mukesh had misled her by calling himself a big businessman. They did not know that he was involved in criminal matters.

Mukesh is in jail

Mukesh is currently in jail. He has written letters to Jacqueline many times from jail and has also been calling himself her boyfriend. However, such claims were never accepted by Jacqueline.

Now everyone’s eyes are on whether ED accepts Jacqueline’s application and whether she is made a government witness. If this happens, there may be many new revelations in the Mukesh case.
