BSF Headquarters Jalandhar Blast: There has been news of a sudden explosion in an Activa Scooty near BSF Chowk in Jalandhar. After this incident the vehicle caught fire. After the incident, there was an atmosphere of chaos on the spot and according to eyewitnesses, as soon as the explosion occurred, fire broke out in the Activa, seeing which the people nearby got scared and immediately informed the police.
As soon as information about the incident was received, teams of police administration and fire brigade reached the spot and started efforts to control the fire. At present the reason for the blast has not been known. At present the police is investigating the matter and the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is being scrutinized.
