Jantar Mantar protest: Threat to ‘set fire to entire Delhi-NCR’, complaint to police after video goes viral
New Delhi: The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protest going on at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar since June 20 is not showing much impact in terms of crowd. But the number of YouTubers and social media influencers is continuously increasing here. Meanwhile, a 15 second video of a person has gone viral, in which he expressed support for Abhijeet Deepke. "Setting fire all over Delhi-NCR" Has threatened. After the video, people are demanding action from Delhi Police.
Video went viral on internet
In this selfie video circulating on social media, a person is seen placing his hand on Abhijeet Deepke’s shoulder and speaking. He says – "All my brothers from Greater Noida are watching…if there is any problem, I have full support from my heart, mind and money. Will set the entire Delhi-NCR on fire if it comes to this brother."

Even before the conversation could be completed, Abhijeet Deepke and his companions leave from there. Deepke is also seen for a few moments in the video. The identity of the person who made the video has not been clear yet.
Demand for action from Delhi Police
As soon as this clip went viral, many users tagged it to Delhi Police and demanded strict action. People say that making such threats in the name of demonstration is a threat to law and order.
At present, no official statement has come from the police on this matter. At the same time, CJP members are continuously saying that their movement is completely peaceful and non-violent. People participating in the demonstration have also been appealed to follow the law.
Crowd of journalists and YouTubers increased at Jantar Mantar
Ladakh activist Sonam Wangchuk’s fast for the last 18 days is also in the news. Since then, the crowd of media and content creators has increased at Jantar Mantar. Many YouTubers are coming to interview Abhijeet Deepke, while some want to talk to Wangchuk. CJP’s spokesperson is also surrounded by cameras. Some food bloggers are even making videos on the food being distributed here.

CJP’s protest is about the core issues, but due to the viral video and threatening statement, the entire focus has now shifted to this clip.
