Jason Statham’s ‘Mutiny’: Amazon Prime upsets Lionsgate with BIG blunder

‘Mutiny’ stars Jason Statham along with Annabelle Wallis

Amazon Prime is in hot waters as they made a careless blunder ahead of Jason Statham’s Mutiny release.

The action-packed film has been now released in theatres on August 21. But allegedly, the film was leaked on the streaming giant a week ago.

According to the reports, the streaming platform has upset US distributor Lionsgate for their unexpected move.

“Amazon is in choppy waters after accidentally leaking Jason Statham‘s latest big-budget action pic Mutiny on its Prime Video service days before the movie is released in theatres”, reported Deadline.

The publication further claimed, “Deadline understands that the movie was up for a matter of hours earlier this week after a mistake led to it being posted on Prime’s product detail page.”

After the reports surfaced regarding the films’ leak, an anonymous international buyer expressed how unprecedented the situation actually is.

“It’s a major f*((-up. I’ve never been in this situation before.”

Directed by Jean-Francois Richet, Mutiny stars Statham alongside Annabelle Wallis, Jason Wong, Roland Moller, Arnas Fedaravicius and Adrian Lester.

Work wise, Jason will also be returning as Deckard Shaw in the finale Fast & Furious film led by Vin Diesel.
