Celebrating the historic occasion of completion of 85 years of its global operations, the company has introduced Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition. The starting ex-showroom price of this special model has been set at Rs 26.70 lakh. The biggest feature of this vehicle is its limited availability, as only 85 units will be produced for the Indian market, making it a collector's item for automobile lovers.

According to Kumar Preesh, Head of Automotive Brands, Stellantis India, the Compass has played a vital role in the brand's success in India. This Anniversary Edition has been designed keeping in mind the preferences of buyers who want to give their car a unique identity on the road.
What is special in design and interior?
In terms of design and cabin, this limited model looks quite different than the normal model. The exterior of the car has 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels, which give it an aggressive and sporty look. Along with this, special 85th anniversary badges and chrome elements have been used on the body. Talking about the interior, the cabin is decorated on an all-black theme, with Mayan gold colored stitching and accent details, which increases its premium feel manifold.
Engine and Transmission
On the mechanical front, the company has given its reliable 2.0-litre Multijet II turbo diesel engine in this SUV. This powerful engine is capable of generating maximum power of 167.67 bhp and peak torque of 350 Nm. Customers get two transmission options in it, which include 6-speed manual and 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

In terms of size, the vehicle measures 4,405 mm long, 1,818 mm wide and 1,640 mm high, while its 2,636 mm wheelbase ensures excellent legroom and seating comfort inside the cabin.
