Jharkhand: Before the festival of Rakshabandhan, great news has come for the women of Giridih district of Jharkhand. Under the Chief Minister Mainiyan Samman Yojana, the honor amount for August 2026 has been sent to the bank accounts of the beneficiary women. A total of 4,57,400 women of the district have benefited from this scheme. An amount of Rs 2,500 has been sent to the account of each beneficiary woman by Hemant Soren government. In this way, a total of Rs 1,14,35,00,000 i.e. Rs 114.35 crore has been transferred to the accounts of women of Giridih district. This amount has been sent directly to bank accounts through Aadhaar based Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Jamua's women got maximum benefits
Under the Chief Minister Mainiyan Samman Yojana, a large number of women from different blocks and urban areas of Giridih district are being given financial assistance every month. This time also the amount for the month of August has been sent to the accounts of eligible women of all the concerned areas. Maximum 53,776 women of Jamua block in the district have got the benefit of the scheme. After this, honorarium has been sent to the bank accounts of 47,819 women in Dhanwar, 41,370 in Dumri and 40,229 women in Giridih block. Similarly, 35,407 women of Birni block, 34,279 of Deori, 32,503 of Gandey, 31,942 of Bagodar and 28,805 women of Bengabad have received the amount for the month of August.

Women from urban areas also got the amount
Let us tell you that along with rural areas, beneficiary women of urban areas of the district have also been given the benefit of the scheme. Samman amount has been sent to the accounts of 27,741 women of Giridih Municipal Corporation area. At the same time, 25,518 women of Sariya area, 21,350 of Gaona and 18,473 women of Pirtand have also got its benefit. Apart from this, an amount of Rs 2,500 has also been transferred to the bank accounts of 13,582 women of Tisri Block, 2,457 women of Sariya Nagar Panchayat and 2,149 women of Dhanwar Nagar Panchayat. In this way, a total of 4,57,400 women including all the concerned blocks and urban areas of Giridih district have got the benefit of Samman Rashi for August 2026. With the amount reaching their accounts before Rakshabandhan, the beneficiary women have got the happiness of the festival along with financial help.
