It will look like normal glasses, but will do heavy work
It looks like a simple pair of glasses and is very light in weight. But inside, Jio has put its own complete technology. Jio has created its own JioRealityOS operating system for this.
The company has introduced two variants of these glasses.
One is audio frames.
It will only have a speaker and a mic. You can listen to songs and talk on calls.
The second is the main model
That means smart camera frames. It has HD camera and visual intelligence sensor. This is going to be a real game changer.
Amazing features of these glasses
These glasses have some features which till now we have seen only in movies.
1. Hello Jio will start as soon as you speak: You don’t need to touch the glasses. Just say “Hello Jio” and the glasses will start. Then you ask him anything, from Google search to weather, he will get you all the information.
2. Paying at sight: This is the biggest feature of these glasses. Have you been to the store and tired of pulling your phone out of your pocket? No problem. Just look at that store’s UPI QR code through the glasses. The camera in the glasses will scan that code and you can make payments up to Rs 5000 directly. Payment will be made without touching the phone.
3. Translation into 12 languages: If you go out for a walk and you don’t understand the board, these glasses will help you. It will look at the board and translate it with the help of AI and directly into your ear in Marathi or Hindi. It supports a total of 12 Indian languages.
4. Will show the way and also live: If you are on a bike and need to find a road, the glasses will tell you the direction within your ear. No need to hold the phone by hand. Also those who are YouTubers or content creators can go live on Instagram or YouTube directly from these glasses.
How much and when will it arrive?
Currently there are such glasses from Meta and Ray-Ban in the market, priced above 30 thousand. But it is reported that Jio is going to bring these glasses at a price of less than 10 thousand rupees. According to tech experts these glasses will be launched later this year i.e. in November or December 2026. If these glasses come under 10 thousand, it will surely start a new revolution of wearable gadgets in India.
