Delhi Crime News: The party organized to celebrate the birth of a son in Kalyanpuri area of Delhi turned into mourning when a young man accompanying the eunuchs stabbed the child’s father to death over a dispute over marriage. People angry with this horrific incident started creating ruckus. The accused was caught and beaten severely. To rescue the accused trapped in the grip of the mob, forces from several police stations and additional forces had to be called to the spot. It is alleged that the angry mob damaged several police bikes and a vehicle. The police somehow captured the accused and pacified the people. However, heavy security forces are still deployed at the spot. Father-in-law of the deceased Jai Singh was also injured. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Jai Singh, aged 22 years.
Jai Singh’s father-in-law Bittu Singh, aged 45, and cousin father-in-law Guddu Singh, aged 41, also got injured by knives while trying to intervene during the attack. The police have registered a case in this regard and have arrested a eunuch and the youth accompanying him, Sonu. Sonu has been injured in the mob beating and is undergoing treatment at GTB Hospital. Police are searching for other accused. Police are also examining the CCTV camera footage around the incident site. Just 13 days ago, there was an echo in the house. According to the police, Jai Singh lived with his family in 11th block of Kalyanpuri. He was married to Gurpreet Kaur about two years ago. Gurpreet gave birth to a son about 13 days ago.
There was an atmosphere of happiness in the family with the arrival of the newborn. To celebrate this, the child’s maternal grandfather Bittu Singh had organized a party at his house on Wednesday night. Jai Singh also returned home at around seven in the evening after doing the work of tying bars in Gurugram and started preparing for the party. Relatives and family members were celebrating late at night. Jai Singh was also present in the street with his father-in-law and other relatives. Meanwhile, four-five eunuchs came there to celebrate the birth of the new born. Controversy increased after the eunuch was slapped. An altercation started between the family and the eunuchs over Neg’s money. Within no time the dispute reached a scuffle.
It is alleged that during this time a youth present on behalf of Jai Singh slapped a eunuch. After this the controversy increased further. Driver Sonu who came with the eunuchs suddenly took out a knife and attacked Jai Singh on his stomach and chest. When his father-in-law Bittu Singh and cousin father-in-law Guddu Singh came forward to save Jai Singh, the accused also attacked them with a knife. Jai Singh got seriously injured due to knife attack and fell there. There was shouting among the people present at the party. A crowd of angry people gathered at the spot due to this incident. The mob caught Sonu and started beating him fiercely.
