A 23 year old girl committed suicide in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. The police is investigating the case. A suicide note was found in the room of the deceased. ‘I love you mom-papa’ is written in it. The girl has not held anyone responsible for her suicide. The incident took place in Chandrabani area of Dehradun. Media reports claimed that the student had topped her school by scoring 97% marks in class 12th.
Family members say that along with studies, the daughter was also preparing for competitive examinations. The deceased girl was identified as Riya Kumari Thapa. Riya’s father has also taken part in the Kargil war. It is being told that the mother had gone to call Riya for lunch, but she did not open the door. When the family broke the door, they saw Riya’s body hanging from the fan.

‘No one is at fault’
Police say that a suicide note has been found in the girl’s room. It is written in Hindi, ‘I love you all, mom, dad. There is no one’s fault in this.

Topped college in 12th
According to senior police officer Ankit Kandari, Riya used to study at night. Usually woke up late in the morning. It is being told that Riya was preparing for NEET-UG exam. This exam is to be held on 21st June. Before this he has taken this dreadful step. Riya topped the school in 12th by scoring 97 percent marks.
