Sunjay Kapoor Property Case Update: Big relief news has come out from Delhi High Court for the children of Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor. Yes, the court has provided interim relief while hearing the petition filed by Karisma Kapoor’s two children Samaira Kapoor and Kiaan Raj Kapoor. This matter is related to the property and will of late businessman Sanjay Kapoor, regarding which there is a dispute going on within the family.
Big decision of the court
While hearing the case, Justice Jyoti Singh clearly said that until the final decision on the validity of the will is taken, it is very important to keep the entire property safe. The court has instructed Priya Kapoor (Sanjay Kapoor’s third wife) that she cannot sell, transfer or dispose of the property in any way. The court also said that it is the responsibility of Priya Kapoor to remove the doubts raised by the children and clarify the truth of the will.
freeze bank accounts
Considering the seriousness of the case, the court has also imposed many significant financial restrictions. The operation of Sanjay Kapoor’s bank accounts has been banned. Along with this, permission to withdraw money from some special accounts has been limited only to the necessary expenses of children. At the same time, transactions related to foreign bank accounts and cryptocurrency have also been banned. The court believes that if the will is found to be fake during the trial, it will be a great injustice to Samaira and Kiyan. Therefore, distribution or use of property in any kind of haste is not appropriate.
Which things are banned?
The court has made it clear in its order that there will be a complete ban on the following activities till the completion of the trial. Such as selling, mortgaging or transferring any property, change in shares or stake in Indian companies, withdrawal of money from provident fund, sale of personal belongings, artwork or valuables, uncontrolled withdrawal from bank accounts. The objective of all these steps is to safeguard the property so that justice can be ensured at the time of final decision.
questions raised on will
The court also admitted that the mother of Karisma Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor has raised serious questions on the veracity and validity of the will. In such a situation, now the responsibility is on Priya Kapoor to resolve these doubts. However, the court also made it clear that the final decision on whether the will is genuine or not will be taken only during the trial.
