When the question is on Sangh, why chilli to BJP?

Priyank Kharge sarcastically wrote that whenever any question is asked to RSS, BJP gets agitated. He said that whenever someone talks about the accountability of the Sangh, the BJP completely loses its temper. According to Kharge, BJP has always been not just an ally of RSS but also its tool. He said that every counterattack by BJP only proves who is in real command.

Serious questions raised on history and tricolor

Taking his attack forward, the Karnataka Home Minister also pointed fingers at the history of the RSS. He asked why the organization which made no contribution in the country’s freedom struggle is giving lectures on patriotism to the entire country today? Along with this, he also asked why it took a long time of 52 years to hoist the national flag at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur? Kharge did not stop here, he asked whether the Sangh actually believed in the Constitution of Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar or the Constitution which he himself wanted to write?

Account sought after completion of 100 years

This whole controversy started when Priyank Kharge wrote an open letter to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. The Sangh is going to complete 100 years of its existence. On this occasion, Kharge had sought clarification on the legal status of the organization, financial transparency and constitutional accountability. He says that the organization which has more than 60,000 branches and crores of volunteers in the country and abroad, should completely follow transparency and tax rules. He asked on what legal basis such huge activities are being carried out without any formal registration?

Sangh’s counterattack and BJP’s warning

RSS and BJP have rejected these allegations outright. Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat termed Kharge’s questions as a ‘political stunt’ and said that he does not feel any need to reply to this letter. At the same time, BJP Lok Sabha MP Ramesh Jigajinagi said in a warning tone that whoever has tried to touch the RSS has not been able to escape. On this, Kharge retorted and asked whether RSS is a terrorist organization which eliminates those who raise questions? He said that he is a follower of Babasaheb’s ideology and is not afraid of such threats.
