A new teaser of the Kawasaki Versus 900 has surfaced, and the bike will make its global debut on October 13, 2026. This bike can be a must for riders looking for long distance travel, comfortable riding position and powerful engine. The bike is likely to be launched in India in 2027.
Kawasaki Versus 900 The design and features of
The Kawasaki Versys 900 will be based on the company’s Z900. The model is expected to be positioned between the Versus 650 and Versus 1100 in the Indian market. The current Versus 650 is priced at Rs 8.63 lakh ex-showroom, while the Versus 1100 is priced at Rs 13.89 lakh. So the potential price of the new Versis 900 could be around Rs 11 lakh. The price has not been officially announced yet.

The teaser features a large windscreen, dual LED headlamps and additional LED projector lamps underneath. The Kawasaki Versys 900 is likely to get a 948cc, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled petrol engine. In the Z900, this engine generates 123.6 bhp of power and 98.6 Nm of torque. A similar output can be found in the Versys 900. The engine is expected to be mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Also this engine can be compatible with E20 fuel.
After its launch in India, the Kawasaki Versys 900 could compete with the likes of the Triumph Tiger 900 and the BMW F900GS. However, the full details of the price, weight and features will be revealed during the global debut.
