The vintage-era photo trend is currently going viral, with people using AI to give their pictures a nostalgic makeover inspired by the decade’s distinctive fashion, hairstyles and grainy backgrounds.
Power couple Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra recently joined the viral retro AI photo trend by sharing an 80s/90s-inspired vintage look on Instagram.
On Wednesday, Kiara took to Instagram and shared an AI-generated photo showing her enjoying an 80s-inspired moment with Sidharth. In the picture, Sidharth is seen in a classic double-denim look with dark aviator sunglasses, while Kiara looks stunning in a vibrant pink dress with puff sleeves, oversized hoop earrings and bangles.
The picture perfectly captures the signature retro aesthetic. Kiara also added the romantic track ‘Samjho Na’ from Sidharth’s upcoming film The Vvaan to the post.
This comes after Kiara faced massive backlash over her intimate scenes with Yash in Toxic. In fact, many meme pages were of the view that Kiara’s husband, actor Sidharth, must not have liked it. However, Kiara and Yash have spoken about the intimate and bold scenes in Toxicwhile many netizens also noticed that Sidharth did not give a shout-out to Toxic after its release.
The couple’s latest post, however, had fans gushing over their chemistry.
One comment read, “What a model of a couple.” Another wrote, “Them in their retro era”, accompanied by heart-eyes emojis. A fan even drew a comparison to another iconic Bollywood pairing, writing, “They look like Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon.”
Other celebrities who have hopped on to the trend include Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal.
