UP Road Accident: Someone’s head was cracked and someone’s chest was hit by a bar… What was the reason behind the Lakhimpur Kheri accident?

UP Road Accident: On Monday morning, a news came out from Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh which shocked the entire area. Early in the morning, when people were leaving their homes for their work, the lives of 10 people were lost in a moment in a horrific road accident. This tragic accident occurred due to a head-on collision between a speeding truck and a magic car loaded with passengers. As soon as information about the accident was received, there was screams all around and a huge crowd of people gathered on the spot. The local police showed promptness and immediately started relief and rescue operations with the help of passersby.

A terrible accident happened in the morning

This painful incident happened on Monday morning at around 7.30 am. According to local eyewitnesses, a Magic vehicle was going from Lakhimpur towards Sisaiya carrying passengers. Magic was still on the way when a very fast truck coming from the direction of Bahraich hit it hard from the front. The collision was so severe that the Magic vehicle became completely out of control and overturned on the side of the road.

What was the reason behind the accident?

Eyewitnesses say that the speed of the truck was so high that the driver could not control it. After the collision, the accused truck driver fled leaving the vehicle on the spot. People believe that if the speed of the truck was a little less, perhaps such a big accident could have been averted and the lives of many innocent people could have been saved.

The scene was heartbreaking

The collision was so terrible that hearing its sound, people from far and wide ran towards the spot. As soon as the collision occurred, the Magic Car fell about 10 feet in the air. The passengers sitting in the vehicle did not even get a chance to recover. Pedestrians present at the spot said that the scene of the accident was so horrifying that it would send shivers down the spines of those with a weak heart. Some passenger’s head was injured and someone else’s chest was pierced by the iron bars of the vehicle.

The face of a young man was so disfigured that people were closing their eyes after seeing him. The breathing of the people sitting inside the magic car stopped within a few seconds. The entire road was red with blood and the magic cart was completely converted into iron debris. After a lot of effort, the police pulled out the bodies stuck between the seats.

Two youths were pulled out alive from the debris.

Amidst the screams, local people and police personnel immediately started rescue operations. A lot of effort had to be made to rescue the people trapped inside the vehicle. During this time, two youths were somehow taken out alive from the debris. Both the youths were seriously injured and were suffering from pain. Without wasting any time, the police immediately took both the injured to the nearby hospital, where they are undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors. Special instructions have been given to the hospital administration for better treatment of the injured.

PM Modi announced compensation of Rs 2 lakh

Here, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the accident. He posted on X and wrote, ‘Deeply saddened to hear about the accident in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh. My condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. Pray to God that the injured people get well as soon as possible. PMNRF will give an ex-gratia amount of Rs 2 lakh to the next of kin of each deceased. Rs 50,000 will be given to the injured.

CM Yogi expressed deep sorrow

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep sorrow over this major accident in Lakhimpur Kheri. The Chief Minister said through social media that the loss of life and property in the unfortunate road accident in Lakhimpur Kheri district is extremely sad and heart-wrenching. He has expressed his deep condolences to the bereaved families of those who lost their lives in the accident.

Strict instructions to provide immediate assistance to the injured

Along with this, the Chief Minister has issued strict instructions to the local administration to reach the spot and provide immediate and adequate assistance to the injured and affected families. He prayed to Lord Shri Ram that the departed souls may rest in peace and the injured people should get complete recovery as soon as possible. The administration is now engaged in further legal action in this matter.
