Law and order will be strengthened in Vrindavan, formation of separate police circle

Mathura: In view of the increasing crowd of devotees coming from across the country and the world and the increasing security needs of Vrindavan, the government has approved the formation of Vrindavan Circle. With the formation of the new circle, an important step has been taken towards further strengthening the policing system in Vrindavan. Following the government order, Sandeep Kumar Singh, who was working as Area Officer Traffic, has been appointed Area Officer of the newly formed Vrindavan Circle.

Law and order will be strengthened in Vrindavan    

Duly orders have been issued in this regard by the Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters) and Home Department, Uttar Pradesh Government. Police station Vrindavan, police station tourism and cyber police station of the district have been included in the newly formed circle. Along with this, now a separate jurisdictional officer will be responsible for the policing and monitoring of these police stations.

SSP Shlok Kumar said that Vrindavan Circle has been formed after the approval of the government. Vrindavan is a very important area from religious and tourism point of view. A large number of devotees and tourists from different parts of the country as well as from abroad come here throughout the year.

The number of devotees increases manifold during festivals and special events. In such a situation, the need for a separate police circle was felt to effectively manage law and order, traffic and security.

With the formation of the new circle, monitoring and accountability of police officers in Vrindavan area will be more clear. There will also be convenience in monitoring the crowd at temples and major religious places, traffic pressure, parking, safety of devotees and matters related to crime control.

Apart from this, by joining Cyber ​​Police Station in Vrindavan Circle, monitoring and action on cases related to cyber crime will also be coordinated in a better way.

Police officials believe that the formation of the new circle will help in strengthening law and order in Vrindavan and will also help in providing a safe and better environment to the devotees and tourists. This decision of the government is being seen as an important change in the policing system in line with the increasing religious and tourist activities of Vrindavan.
