LeBron fires back at Edwards and takes a shot at Adidas

During the latest episode of Mind the Game, LeBron James responded to Anthony Edwards’ jokes in the latest Adidas ad, taking a shot at the brand itself.

First of all, I didn’t watch the ad because I don’t watch anything from the Three Stripes. Nothing. I love Ant, but I don’t watch a f***ing thing from the Three Stripes. So I don’t even know exactly what he said

In the ad, Edwards joked about James not ending up with the Minnesota Timberwolves, saying his knees would not have been able to handle the cold before also taking aim at the hairlines of LeBron and Jaylen Brown.

James explained that he had still read some headlines about the jokes and found one flaw in the comment about the weather:

I think he said I was too old and I didn’t want my knees to get cold. But I was like, “Ant, I went to Philly.” It’s not like my knees are going to be any warmer in Philadelphia

The tone remained playful, though, and when Steve Nash pointed out that Ant is one of the players who can get away with joking about him, LeBron laughed in response.

Keep making fun of me. I’m used to it

The two are already set to meet on January 16 in Minnesota and March 13 in Philadelphia, and this back-and-forth will surely have given both of them plenty of material for some good old-fashioned trash talk.
