American musician Lizzo, who has enjoyed success with her global hits like Truth Hurts and Juicesays she lets fans shape perception of her new sound.
The 38-year-old has has a unique osund to her music and has continued to advocate for her social beliefs.
The singer said she enjoys seeing how fans interpret her music as she teases her upcoming album.
Speaking of her new album with PeopleLizzo said it will be the sound unique to her discography.
“I don’t know how to not be that girl, but I will say I posted a snippet of one of my new songs that’s coming out very, very soon and somebody was like, ‘The ’90s are back.’”
She added “And I was like, ‘Okay.’ I like to let the people decide what the sound is.”
The Grammy-winner said she ultimately loves to write “really good music”, including the process of constructing and producing.
For her ew record, she has teamed up with with long‑time collaborators Ricky Reed, Blake Slatkin and Zack Sekoff.
Her new album is titled controversially B**** and it will drop on June 5.
